Our natural dental floss is made from compostable corn-based PLA, coated with vegetable wax and organic mint oil. Mint oil is safe to use in young children and during pregnancy as it is known for its superior yet mild emollient properties. Daily flossing helps remove food debris and prevents bacteria from getting into areas that regular brushing can't reach. You should encourage flossing with your child if your child has two teeth that are touching. This is often around the age of 2 to 3 years. Always floss under the direction of your child's dentist or family doctor. Flossing is not necessary at this age. Children often need help flossing until they are 8 to 10 years old. green-goose Dental Floss is vegan and cruelty-free and completely biodegradable. The packaging is made of biodegradable corn fiber and can simply be put in the green bin.

Instructions
Gently pull out about 12 inches of floss and roll the floss around your thumb to check its strength and position. Floss slowly between each tooth close to the gumline.
